I wanted to thank a local church, Buffalo Pres for thier contribution of chairs to the small church in Reidsville, N.C.
My Pastor friend Walter is working to start a Food Bank in his church for his members and people in the community.
I've been trying to to get some other food banks to share some of thier goods with us but no luck.
It is so disappointing to see people use their church structure, and/or rules to not reach out and help others. Always a easy out.
Funny, in my reading of the Bible, I didn't notice Jesus getting approval of the Temple to help others. How far we have fallen away from his example.
We're also going to be gathering up both adult and children's coats for this winter.
Hopefully we will find those who wish to help.
We'll pray about it.

Follow up on Church Pews and Chairs.
Well, I had two wonderful people step forward and help us last week. One Gentleman came forward and provided a small trailer load of chairs, well built, sturdy and with padded seats for those long sermons, and a wonderful Lady who purchased and gave to us six pews, exactly the right size that even matched the interior of the church.
So Sunday the Congregation showed up to find that where several days before there had been an empty building now they had a church filled with furniture that was now theirs.
What a blessing God has provided.

Well. Something of interest here. other than spam, just a taunting jab by Darkmoon.
where is the professed caring about your fellow man. The response here shows we have alot of work to do.
Matt 25: Then the King will say to those at his right hand, 'Come, O blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;
Mat 25:35 for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
Mat 25:36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.'
Mat 25:37 Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry and feed thee, or thirsty and give thee drink?
Mat 25:38 And when did we see thee a stranger and welcome thee, or naked and clothe thee?
Mat 25:39 And when did we see thee sick or in prison and visit thee?'
Mat 25:40 And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'
Mat 25:41 Then he will say to those at his left hand, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels;
Mat 25:42 for I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger and you did not welcome me, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.'
Mat 25:44 Then they also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see thee hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to thee?'
Mat 25:45 Then he will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me.'
Mat 25:46 And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

I wanted to see if you may know where I can find some chairs and/ or Church Pews that can be donated to a small church. they are needed by this weekend.
A friend of mine has a small Church, they are in need of some chairs or Church Pews for services.
Some churches that replace their pews will donate those replaced, and/or you may know of a group that has some chairs they would be willing to donate.
The good thing is that anything donated can be written off as a donation to a charity. So it is a win/win situation.
This small church has no furniture as of this week. They were using the furniture from another small church. But,this church found their own building and have taken their furniture there.
If you can help or know somebody I can call please let me know.
This small church is led by a good and caring pastor and they can use your help.
I thank you for helping on this. It is a wonderful outreach.
Thanks again If you can help please post here.
